A Letter to Our ETSU FamilyPublished by
To the ETSU Family and the best fans in the Southern Conference, I hope this letter finds you and your families healthy, safe, and doing what you can to support those around you. Our primary concern is that you and your loved ones remain healthy and safe. Like organizations all over our country, the ETSU Department of Intercollegiate Athletics is facing an unprecedented situation. COVID-19 has impacted many aspects of our lives and daily operations, including the cancellation of NCAA Championships, all spring sport practice and competition, and a newly implemented remote work effort. While this news has been extremely disappointing, it has allowed us to focus on what is most important for our ETSU Athletics Family.
The focus on these priorities has simplified our current effort for victory. The opponent is not a traditional rival, but COVID-19 and the Bucs will do everything necessary to achieve our world’s effort to be victorious. Sacrifices are necessary and are being made; but together, in time, this will be one of our greatest victories. In future messages, our athletic department will communicate our business plans regarding ticket operations, donor gifts, special events and other important elements of our regular business. For the time being, we are focusing on the priorities outlined above and appreciate your focus on these priorities as well. Should you need to contact ETSU Athletics we encourage you to utilize the following email [email protected] or by calling 423-439-4343. Our future is filled with HOPE. The Bucs will be Back! The best fans in the Southern Conference will gather again in support of the Blue & Gold. Thank you very much for your support. Stay healthy and Go Bucs!
